Sorry that my blog has been seriously neglected lately, but I've had my hands full. Literally...and I'm loving every minute of it! But, even though I have a GREAT excuse to keep ignoring the blog, I thought I'd post some of the highlights of the past couple of months (to get you-know-who off my back for a little while). he he
Week 3: We took Charlotte on her first overnight trip to Indiana for Jenn's 30th birthday. She was an angel baby and slept almost the entire car trip. It was SO GOOD to see our Indiana framily. :)

Week 4: Aunt Becky and Mary Campbell came to meet Charlotte and introduced her to restaurants for the first time. :)

Josh also made it back for a quick visit with his new favorite Jackson.
Week 5: Charlotte was invited to her first party for her little friend, Aden and slept and cried through the entire thing. What a party pooper!
Week 6: Charlotte FINALLY started taking a paci and it made our already "easy baby" even easier. YAY!
She also took her first trip to church and slept through the entire service. I'm sure she wasn't the only one.... LOL
We also went to the McLean County Fair to have a funnel cake. :)
Week 7: We started bottle-training and Charlotte would only take a bottle from Chris at first, but after a week or so, she started letting me feed her from a bottle too.
We celebrated Grandma Alfreda's 60th birthday at Baxter's.
We also went to a 99th birthday party for my step-great grandmother in Oreana, IL. (I don't know where it is either!) Charlotte slept in Papa's arms almost the entire time. So sweet!
With Aunt Danielle :)
Another milestone - her first stroller ride in the BOB without her carseat being attached. She hated it, but has been loving it ever since.
See?
Week 8: We celebrated our friend, Henna's 30th birthday at Biaggi's.

We got to have a quick visit with Brian, Tracie, Claire & Laila over breakfast on Saturday.
Then we headed to Champaign for a cookout at my Aunt Kathy's house. Here's Charlotte hanging out with Nana at the cookout.
And THEN we got on the road to head down to Knoxville for the week. It was definitely a busy Saturday! Good thing we have such a laid-back baby. :)
We mastered the art of the car diaper change. :)
A very important first - MY first trip to PF Chang's!! It was delicious!! Poor Charlotte probably didn't appreciate being strapped back into her car seat after a full day on the road.
